Siemens (Dade Behring) will again be awarding 50, $1000 scholarships to CLT/MLT students.The 2008 Application for the Siemens (Dade-Behring) CLT/MLT Scholarship is available via the above link. Please note that applications will ONLY be accepted between August 1, 2008 and November 1, 2008. Also, applications will only be evaluated if they are on the NEW 2008 application form and all directions have been followed.
The new AMA Health Professions Education Data Book, 2008-2009 edition is now available. This newly updated publication features 30 tables of data for academic year 2006-2007, including number of programs and enrollments, attrition, and graduates by occupation, state/province, and race/ethnic origin and gender.
View the ASCLS Clinical Laboratory Education Online Directory that lists a number of CLS/MT and CLT/MLT programs that offer at least some distance learning (online or otherwise).

The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) has a catalog of books and other educational offerings which may assist program directors in areas such as writing objectives. Select "ASCLS Education Connections" from the ASCLS publications page to view the list of resources.
