NAACLS will conduct a hybrid workshop titled, “Winds of Change: Understanding the 2024 Standards and Compliance Guide Changes,” on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 7:00am-12:00pm ET, in Atlanta, Georgia, in concurrence with the CLEC 2025.

This workshop will feature crosswalk examples of the most significant changes in the NAACLS Standards and Standards Compliance Guide; a review of frequently cited standards that have stayed relatively the same as their 2012 standards counterparts; what to expect in brand new standards, compliance language, and resources.

Upon completion of this workshop, the participants should be able to:

1. Examine examples comparing significant updates in the 2024 NAACLS Standards with their 2012 equivalents
2. Review frequently cited standards, identifying common areas of non-compliance and best practices for adherence.
3. Identify proactive strategies and resources available to comply with the 2024 NAACLS Standards

ASCLS P.A.C.E. and ASCP approve NAACLS as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences. This workshop is an intermediate-level program. The following contact hours will be awarded at the workshop: ASCLS P.A.C.E. = 4; ASCP = 4.
