NAACLS Standards, Strategies, and Success: An Inside Look
Presented by experienced program directors, NAACLS volunteer content experts, and NAACLS Review Committee members Ethan Kentzel and Carol Rentas, this interactive workshop is designed to help program directors, faculty, and program administrators navigate the accreditation process with confidence—from the self-study through the site visit.
During the workshop, Ethan and Carol will highlight the intent behind NAACLS Standards and illustrate how each of the core NAACLS documents may be best used during the accreditation process. Attendees will examine examples of documentation and evidence used to demonstrate compliance and gain practical strategies for program assessment and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
Through discussion and application-based examples, participants will develop a deeper understanding of how to interpret and apply the 2024 NAACLS Standards to refine and strengthen their programs.
ASCLS P.A.C.E. and ASCP CEUs:
NAACLS is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program and by the ASCP. This workshop offers 6.5 contact hours. This workshop is an intermediate level program.
