The NAACLS Board of Directors is requesting public comment for two proposed changes to NAACLS’ Standards that primarily affect HT and PBT programs (click here to download) . The proposed changes would 1) require HT programs to culminate in an associate degree (or certificate for students who already hold or otherwise complete the degree), and 2) require PBT program directors that are certified in phlebotomy to hold ASCP-BOC US Certification (unless ASCP-BOC US certified as an MLS/MT/MLT).  All comments must be sent via letter to the NAACLS office, or by email to [email protected] by the end of business on June 27^th, 2014.
