NAACLS is launching two important initiatives of which it wishes all volunteers to be aware. First, NAACLS is offering a volunteer education session on March 21st, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm central. Hosted by PARC Chair Keri Brophy-Martinez and RCAP Chair Charity Accurso, this session will provide strategies for conducting high-quality reviews and composing clear and professional reports. For those unable to attend the live session, it will be available on demand from March 22nd until April 8th. While NAACLS does not require the session for volunteers, staff will consider attendance when making Spring and Fall 2024 Self Study Review and Fall 2024 Site Visit assignments. NAACLS will release information regarding accessing the on-demand recording of the session on the NAACLS News at a later date.

The second initiative is a volunteer sign-up reset. NAACLS Staff has noticed more and more errors with its self-study reviewer and site visitor information, out-of-date emails and telephone numbers, incorrect credentials, etc. As a result, we will start a fresh new sign-up list. If you are interested in serving as a self-study reviewer and site visitor, you need to sign up using the link provided below, regardless if you have signed up in the past. This ensures that NAACLS Staff has the most accurate information for you. Please note that we have updated the VIP Mentor requirements and combined the VIP Mentor sign-up with our general reviewer sign-up. We encourage you to review those requirements and consider serving as a VIP Mentor. Our mentors are integral to continuing the NAACLS culture of collaboration and peer review.
