Dedicated NAACLS volunteer Mary Jean Rutherford MEd, MT(ASCP) SC, passed away Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, after a period of declining health.

Ms. Rutherford generously volunteered her time as a NAACLS content expert for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Program Approval Review Committee (PARC) from 2005 to 2013, including serving as vice-chair from 2009 to 2011. In addition to her service on PARC, she performed numerous self study reviews and site visits.
