The NAACLS Standards Lab: Testing Your Program for Compliance – Virtual Workshop

June 2 @ 9:00 am 4:00 pm

Our Presenters, Jennifer Knight MHS, MLS(ASCP)CM and Phyllis Ingham EdD, MEd, MLS (ASCP)CM AHI(AMT) look forward to hosting you in the 2026 NAACLS Virtual Workshop: The NAACLS Standards Lab: Testing Your Program for Compliance.

Understanding and applying accreditation standards can be challenging for program directors and faculty navigating the NAACLS accreditation process. This interactive workshop uses a laboratory-themed approach to explore the NAACLS Standards and their practical application within medical laboratory education programs. Through guided discussion, real-world scenarios, and collaborative problem-solving activities, participants will examine common areas of confusion, identify effective strategies for demonstrating compliance, and explore methods for documenting program effectiveness. Attendees will gain practical tools and insights to strengthen program operations, support continuous quality improvement, and prepare programs for successful accreditation reviews and site visits.

Upon completion of this workshop, the participants should be able to:

  1. Interpret the key components of the NAACLS Standards and identify appropriate documentation and evidence used to demonstrate program compliance.
  2. Evaluate common accreditation scenarios to recognize potential areas of non-compliance and determine strategies for addressing identified deficiencies.
  3. Develop practical approaches for documenting program outcomes, assessment practices, and continuous quality improvement activities in alignment with NAACLS Standards.
$300 – $325 Registration begins April 10th, 2026.
