Public Comment for Proposed Standards
NAACLS Board of Directors seeks public comment for proposed changes to the 2024 Standards and DCLS Standards. For your convenience, if you wish to review the proposed standard changes before opening the linked survey, NAACLS Staff has provided all proposed changes linked below.
Please remember that public comments will only be accepted through completion of the linked survey. All comments must be received by the end of the business day December 4, 2026.
NAACLS Whitelist Information
NAACLS has a new email platform, and a few quick steps keeps our messages in your inbox. We’ve moved to Intuit Mailchimp to deliver accreditation news, program updates, and event notices. Because the messages now come from a new system, your email provider may route them to Spam, Junk, or Promotions.
Here’s the quick fix to that conundrum:
1. Save news@NAACLS.org as a contact in your address book
2. Add it to your safe sender list (sometimes called “allow list” or “trusted senders”) in your email settings
3. Check your Spam, Junk, and Promotions folders, open any missed NAACLS message, and mark it “Not spam,” “Not junk,” or move it to your main inbox

Annual Survey of Programs Due October 22, 2026
By now, all Program Directors should have received a link to complete the Annual Survey of Programs for the program(s) they oversee. Please be reminded that completion of this survey is required under the NAACLS Standards, including for programs that have recently closed or are currently on inactive status. The survey must be completed by October 22, 2026. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact NAACLS at notifications@naacls.org.
